The overskirts that I make are custom made to your measurements. The way the skirt is worn/attached is up to you, here are some examples of how you can add this stunning fabric to your ensemble!
= 'Detachable Skirt' this skirt has an appliqued waistband made from flowers/leaves cut from the same fabric. Around the inside of the waistband are safety brooch pins, these are how you pin the skirt onto your dress or trousers. The skirt is usually 'open' (like a wrap skirt) and the split can be worn at the front or to the side to reveal your dress underneath. This is the most flexible dress for sizing fluctuations/if you are not confident in your measurements.
= 'Overskirt' this skirt has a ribbon waist (good for fluctuations in dress size....or to make room for wedding cake!).
= 'Buttoned Overskirt' this skirt has a narrow waistband with two small buttons. You will need to be precise with your measurements and there is little room for size fluctuation once made.
Pricing-
£250- 130cm skirt length all the way around (or shorter eg. 110cm at the front and a 130cm train). See photos for example.
£350- 130cm-200cm length. This additional price is due to the extra work and fabric involved. The embroidered fabric is only 130cm wide so a second plain white tulle layer is used to create the length and the embroidered tulle is sewn on top. This way you can have it shorter at the front but still have an impressive train behind. See photos for example.
Items are Made to Order, so every skirt is unique and will look slightly different from the listing pictures.
Please message measurements-
>A. Waist measurement (around your torso where it will be on your body, this could be at your narrowest point or lower, possibly on your hips which is wider).
>B. Centre front measurement (from your A measurement position down to the floor in front of you feet).
>C*. Centre back measurement (from your A measurement position down to the floor or end of the 'train') *measurement C must be within 130cm for the £250 skirt option
Remember to wear your heels (shoes that you will be using with the skirt) and the same underwear/outfit when taking measurements.
